Transcript of comments made by Elton Mann during a meeting in Quito, Ecuador, September 14, 2022.

“It does not matter how we look. What matters is that we win. Because if you win you do not have to look good. You do not have to be right. If you win, you do not need to follow the rules. If you win, you will make the rules.

“And, if you want to win, all you must do is frighten more people than the other side frightens. If you frighten people enough, they will no longer worry about following rules. All they will care about is finding the hero who will save them. Our job is to frighten them and convince them that we have their hero. Do we have that hero? No, of course not. But we will win because when people are frightened enough they will follow without thinking. We will win, that is what matters. We must do whatever it takes to accomplish that.”

“Why do we want to win? To destroy a country? No, that is not our goal. Our goal is to make people believe that someone is trying to destroy their way of life, and then offer them what they believe can save that way of life. And what do the people believe can save them? Whatever we tell them can save them. Then we have control. And control is what we seek.”

“Does it matter what their way of life is? No. All that matters is that they are people who are frightened. We do not care about their way of life, what they believe in, what they want. All we care about is doing what needs to be done to win. Their way of life means nothing to us other than it provides us with the path to giving us the means to control them.”

“Why control? Because that is how we will ensure that we can do what we want to do, whenever and however we want to do it. Control means we can once and for all put aside the made-up rules and laws that limit us and create the conflicts that keep interfering with our goals. Once we finally put an end to the peoples’ belief in concepts like justice, and fairness, and equality, and once we finally replace the idea of compassion with raw fear for survival, then we are free to enjoy our way of life. And that, my friends, is all that matters.”
